
Irena R. Mavrov, MS
Psychometrist and Coach
Irena is a third-year student in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at Seattle Pacific University. She provides psychometric testing support to our neuropsychologists and serves as an executive functioning coach. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, Irena completed a master’s degree in Psychology at Palo Alto University. Her decision to pursue a career in mental health has been inspired by the human capacity to persevere in the face of adversity. Convinced that everyone is capable of achieving their full potential when provided with the right support and guidance, Irena is committed to assuming an integral role in helping her clients attain their goals. She is passionate about working collaboratively with children, adolescents, and their families, utilizing a client-centered and strengths-based approach.
Irena’s research interests include trauma and resilience, personality traits associated with resilience, and posttraumatic growth. Born and raised in Europe, Irena adds to the diversity of our team and shares a great sensitivity to culture. Given her multicultural background and extensive travel experiences, Irena especially enjoys working with traditionally underserved and culturally diverse populations, such as ethnic minorities, immigrants, and refugees.
