Integrated Movement Therapy

The IMT approach is based on yoga’s philosophical, physical and spiritual framework in conjunction with conventional neuro-physiological perspectives to address life's challenges from depression and anxiety to trauma, grief and life-threatening illness.


IMT sessions integrate conventional psychotherapy techniques with experiential activities that strengthen the mind/body connection as a pathway to recovery. This work is influenced by neuroscience, rooted in yoga philosophy, and supported by research demonstrating that when we attend to and befriend our nervous system, we can successfully reduce or manage symptoms, increase self-confidence, and be compassionate towards others.
